how it works

:: Get your marriage license.  See Getting Married in Hawaii for more information.

:: Secure your wedding venue, including any permits and fees.

::  Review the packages offered and select the one that best meets your needs.

:: Send us an email and give us a few details about your wedding and what you are looking for, including the date, time, and location you have decided on.

:: Salty Kisses will respond promptly and let you know if the officiant is available.  If you would like, an initial phone or email consultation is free of charge prior to any contract.  This allows you to “get to know” the officiant first.

:: If you decided to book our services after this meeting/initial email, just email us and we will send you a link to our contract.

:: Once the contract is submitted, an invoice will be sent to the email given in the contract.  All payments are made through PayPal.

::  At least 50% of the total cost must be paid at this time.  The remainder, if any, must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the wedding date.  Your date and time will be put on hold for three days pending deposit payment.  Once the deposit payment has cleared, the date and time will be considered confirmed.

::  $40 of this deposit is non-refundable.

::  You will provided a copy of your contract.

:: Once the contract is complete and the deposit is cleared, the officiant will send you a link to a Relationship Questionnaire.  This is simply to allow the officiant to get to know you both a little better and provide you with a more personal experience.

::  The officiant will send you some samples of ceremony scripts for you to review.  For the Pineapple Package, you may choose the desired script and request minor changes.  For the Hibiscus and Pikake Packages, you are free to adapt and add to the wording to meet your needs and, if you would like, we can do this together via phone, email, or in-person, when possible.

::  And then it is time for your ceremony!
